The Canada to Arizona team had an amazing week showcasing our business to over 650,000 crazy golf fans at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. As a featured business at the main entrance expo we connected with thousands of Canadians answering all kinds of questions and promoting our business partners in Arizona. You may have seen our team at the expo booth or across the grounds wearing Canada to Arizona gear. Our business partner Darcy Hordichuk is a member of the Thunderbirds, the group responsible for the entire event setup and organization. Darcy had a very busy week touring our VIP business partners around the property.

It was an exciting week for Canadians with two Canadian players making the cut and Graham DeLaet contending down the stretch finishing in a tie for 9th. Adam Hadwin finished strong on Sunday with a final round 66 and finishing in a tie for 12th. It is always fun to see the Canadian flags in the crowd, the singing of Oh Canada on the 16th hole and Saskatchewan Roughrider jersey’s in Graham DeLaet’s Gallery! This is why Canada to Arizona exists!

The 2017 Waste Management Phoenix Open was a record-breaking week with total attendance of 655,434, breaking the previous weekly attendance record of 618,365 set last year. In total, four attendance records were broken during the week – the weekly attendance mark, as well as single-day records on Wednesday (77,906), Friday (169,004) and Saturday (204,906).

The Canada to Arizona team is very proud to be apart of this incredible event and we look forward to greeting Canadians at the Waste Management Phoenix Open in 2018!
