The 2016 Royal University Hospital Foundation’s Eric Gryba Celebrity Golf Classic was a great success in support of Emergency, Critical Care and Trauma at Royal University Hospital.
With the help of our hometown NHL star, Eric Gryba of the Edmonton Oilers, a group of celebrity hockey stars including our own Darcy Hordichuk, sponsors, volunteers and golfers, Royal University Hospital Foundation’s 11th Annual Celebrity Golf Classic was a great success raising $175,000 in support of RUH Foundation’s Campaign for Emergency, Critical Care and Trauma at Royal University Hospital. Launched in 2006, RUH Foundation’s Celebrity Golf Classic has raised a total of $1.62 million (net) for health care at Royal University Hospital.
The tournament teed off on June 14th with a Community Autograph Event hosted and held by the Presenting Sponsor FFUN Motor Group followed by a sponsor reception and NHL player auction at Legacy Lounge. Thursday, June 15th golfers hit the links at Moon Lake Golf & Country Club.
