THE ROAD TO HANA
The Road to Hana on the island of Maui is the undisputed #1 scenic drive in the United States. There are few words that can describe the beauty of this 52 mile drive from Kahului to Hana with over 600 twists and turns, 54 bridges, waterfalls, along with black, red, and white sand beaches. With the curves hugging the ocean coastline, you won’t find anything more beautiful!

CALIFORNIA PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY
The Pacific Coast Highway is well known as one of the most scenic drives in the world. Starting from California’s northern border with Oregon and stretching all the way down to San Diego. Add the 17 mile drive loop at Pebble beach to make this the perfect trip! You will see stunning coastal views, seaside villages, and untouched forests along the way.

FLORIDA KEYS OVERSEAS HIGHWAY
The Overseas Highway includes a total of 113 miles of roadway and 42 overseas bridges, leap frogging through the Florida Keys to Key West. From Key Largo to Key West, the overseas highway strings the islands together like beads, running past lighthouses, underwater coral-reef parks, and across 7 Mile Bridge, one of the longest bridges in the world.

UTAH’S SCENIC BYWAY 12
Utah’s famous State Route 12 is one of the most scenic highways in America stretching over 124 miles. The highway has two National Parks, Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef, at each end and many other scenic points in between including Red Canyon, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and over Boulder Mountain in the Dixie National Forest.

GOING TO THE SUN ROAD
The Going-to-the-Sun Road is a spectacular 50 mile highway that bisects Glacier National Park in Montana crossing the Continental Divide at 6,646-foot-high Logan Pass. It passes through almost every type of terrain in the park, from large glacial lakes and cedar forests in the lower valleys to windswept alpine tundra atop the pass. Scenic viewpoints line the road for tourists.

BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY
The nearly 500 miles of blacktop twisting roads through the Great Smoky Mountains and Shenandoah National Parks across Virginia and and Carolina’s was built for travelers seeking Appalachian overlooks. It is a panoramic drive for all seasons, with undulating slopes of color in autumn, a bounty of forest canopy in summer, and hot-cider ski resorts in winter.

PETER NORBECK NATIONAL SCENIC BYWAY
The Peter Norbeck National Scenic Byway spans 70 miles in the Black Hills National Forest in South Dakota. The byway loop follows the Needles Highway and Iron Mountain Road through the Black Hills National Forest and Custer State Park that takes drivers by granite spires, through rock tunnels, and across pigtail bridges on the way to Mount Rushmore.

OLYMPIC PENINSULA LOOP
The Olympic Peninsula road loops around the largest road free area in the continental U.S. Starting in the northwest, climb into the Hoh River Rain-forest, dominated by ancient Sitka spruce and western hemlock. You can spy the San Juan Islands from the top of Hurricane Ridge, and at low tide, the pools on Olympic beaches are rife with starfish, sand dollars, and crabs.

ACADIA PARK LOOP ROAD
The 27 mile Park Loop Road is the primary avenue for navigating through Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island in Maine. Its landscape is marked by woodland, rocky beaches and glacier-scoured granite peaks. Among the wildlife are moose, bear, whales, and seabirds. The bayside town of Bar Harbor, with restaurants and shops, is a popular gateway.

COLORADO’S TRAIL RIDGE ROAD
The Trail Ridge Road spans across the Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. It is the highest continuous paved road in the United States known as the “Highway to the Sky,” it crosses the Continental Divide at 12,183 feet. You will find the parks best views as the road quickly ascends above the tree line and emerging into open tundra and spectacular peaks.
