Miles is a Canadian citizen from Saskatchewan now residing in Scottsdale Arizona. He is the Founder and CEO of Canada to USA and Cross Border Insurance. Miles holds active professional licenses as a Licensed Realtor, a Licensed U.S. Insurance Producer, and a Licensed Mortgage Broker.

Director of Business Development

Darcy is a Canadian citizen from Saskatchewan now residing in Scottsdale Arizona. Darcy had a successful NHL career spanning 12 years until retiring from hockey in 2013. Darcy manages business development while forming strategic business relationships across Canada and the United States.

Our Company History

2015

In 2015, we launched our first website under the Canada to Arizona brand. It was a basic one page website that allowed Canadians to submit their questions about Arizona. Our goal was to create a one stop resource website and partnerships with only the top professionals who truly understand Canadians cross border needs. The volume of requests was overwhelming and we started our journey…

2016

In 2016, we began developing the Canada to Arizona website growing to over 1,000 web pages and served over 100,000 visitors. The initial vision of our business was to help Canadians with travel and tourism in Arizona, but this evolved quickly…

2017

In 2017, we expanded adding the Canada to Florida website to serve the millions of Canadians who visit Florida each year. Later that year we also added the Canada to USA website with a broader focus on cross border needs. We grew our content across 3 websites to over 5,000 web pages and over 300,000 annual visitors by the end of 2017.

2018

In 2018, the Canada to USA network of websites reached over 500,000 Canadians with over 10,000 pages of content. Our network of partners grew as we expanded our list of services.

2019

In 2019, we rebranded and became Canada to USA, a business focused on helping Canadians across the United States but we continued to have a significant focus on Canadian’s two favorite U.S. markets, Florida and Arizona.

2020

In 2020, the Canada to USA membership program was launched to help Canadians save money on travel and offset currency rates. We formed partnerships with large scale travel providers offering highly discounted exclusive private rates to our members. Then Covid happened…

2022

In 2022, we restructured our business bringing together the Canada to Arizona and Canada to Florida brands under the main Canada to USA website. A full website transformation began as we combined all our great content onto one robust platform to serve Canadians needs across all 50 states. We continue to expand in-depth local content for Arizona and Florida under our one site platform to give Canadians the resources they needs in the 2 most popular states for Canadian snowbirds.

2023

In 2023, Canada to USA launched a licensed insurance agency called Cross Border Insurance LLC. A U.S. based insurance agency focused solely on providing Canadians with U.S. home and auto insurance and travel insurance globally.

What’s Next?

The Canada to USA community is growing rapidly with more visitors and members subscribing every day. We have lofty goals and aggressive growth plans for the year ahead with new partners joining our network and new exclusive services being offered to Canadians. Our real estate brokerage will be launched soon in all 50 states with a dedicated focus to provide Canadians a true trusted real estate experience in the United States.
